Iran short film ‘The Role’ has been scheduled to attend the 31st edition of Minimalen Short Film Festival in Norway.
Directed by Farnoush Samadi, the short flick has been officially selected to compete with 37 works from other countries at the international competition section of the festival.
The 11-minute film narrates the story of a woman who accompanies her husband for an audition. The things that happen at the meeting leads the woman to make an important decision.
Babak Hamidian and his wife Mina Sadati, the ifilm star of ‘Leila’s Loneliness’ are among the cast members of ‘The Role’.
Launched in 1988, Minimalen Short Film Festival is an annual, independent short film event that is held in the old town of Trondheim.
The latest edition of the festival is slated for January 22-27, 2019.
